Tropical Storm Andrea: Classes cancelled Friday morning

The most recent local weather report predicts the heaviest impacts of Tropical Storm Andrea will occur between 9 p.m. Thursday, June 6, and 6 a.m. Friday, June 7.

Today's evening classes will be held as scheduled.

With strong winds, local flooding and potentially hazardous travel conditions possible, Friday morning's classes are cancelled.

Because of the summer four-day work week most Citadel employees are not working Friday, June 7. Those employees scheduled to work Fridays who are not essential for emergency response are not required to report to work Friday.

The next update will be at approximately 10 a.m. Friday.
