The Citadel's Tau Iota Chapter of Sigma Delta Pi inducts seven

The Citadel's Tau Iota Chapter of Sigma Delta Pi inducted six new student members and one honorary member on March 4, 2008.

Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society, was established in November 1919 at the University of California Berkeley. There are more than 540 chapters at almost all state universities.

Cadets initiated at The Citadel were:

•  Louis Doelling, Atlanta, Ga.
• Alexander Johnson, Portland, Ore. 
• Bryan Kant, Snellville, Ga.
• Robert Kozakiewicz, Riverhead, N.Y.
• Lana Moore, Las Vegas, Nev.
• Michael Warwick , Port St. Lucie, Fla.

The honorary member is Alfred Finch, dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Finch was honored for his outstanding support of Sigma Delta Pi's mission.
