Global Scholars Italy Safety
Safety and security is a top priority for all Citadel study-abroad programs. We work closely with institutions abroad to ensure the well-being of both students and faculty. As such, we have thoroughly vetted our program in Italy to make sure their safety standards align with our own.
It’s important to note that there are no State Department travel advisories or warnings in effect for Italy. The Office of Study Abroad, International, and Domestic Programs advises students on health and safety procedures prior to departure to ensure students are prepared for the overall study abroad experience. Any students with concerns in the meantime are encouraged to stop by the OIDP at 202 Richardson Avenue, above the Krause Center, to discuss the safety of their study abroad program.
