Global Scholars Greece
The Citadel in Greece program is hosted by The American College of Greece (ACG), located in Athens. Originally founded in 1875, ACG is the oldest American-accredited college in Europe and the largest private college in Greece. ACG is an independent, not-for-profit, nonsectarian, co-educational academic institution. Classes at ACG are taught in English. Citadel students take classes with degree-seeking students in an immersive environment. ACG enrolls approximately 2,800 graduate and undergraduate students with over 450 international students from more than 67 countries. Students from a wide range of academic majors can choose from a list of pre-approved courses that transfer back to The Citadel. Transfer credits do not affect GPAs, but students must complete their abroad courses with a C or higher to receive transfer credit. Academic disciplines offered at ACG include Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science, English, Political Science, Business Administration, Biology, Fine Arts, Chemistry, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Engineering, Communications, Math, Hospitality and Tourism, and History.
