The University of Nicosia

The Citadel in Cyprus is hosted by the University of Nicosia (UNIC). UNIC is the largest research university in Southern Europe that teaches primarily in English, offering bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees based on the American model (4-year Bachelor degrees, 15 credit hour semesters). It is also the largest university in Cyprus. The University enrolls about 5,000 students, of which approximately 600 are InternaMonal students, 60 are ERASMUS exchange students, and 70-80 are North American study abroad students.

Academics

Students from a wide range of academic majors can choose from a list of pre-approved courses that transfer back to The Citadel. Transfer credits do not affect GPAs, but students must complete their abroad courses with a C or higher to receive transfer credit.

Academic disciplines offered at UNIC include Math, Computer Science, English, Political Science, Business Administration, Biology, Physics, Fine Arts, Chemistry, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Law, and Psychology.
