The Global Scholars Program is designed to make study abroad academically feasible for students of nearly all academic majors offered at The Citadel. The program allows students to enroll in up to 18 credit-hours of courses in fields including (but not limited to):
- Computer Science
- Political Science
- Business Administration
- Fine Arts
- Criminal Justice
Citadel students should choose courses from this pre-approved list of courses to ensure credit for the courses will transfer to The Citadel. Our advisors can work with students who are seeking a particular course that is not listed.
To see classes being offered at UNIC, check this online UNIC course schedule. Be sure to click on the correct semester, language (English), and course level (undergraduate).
In addition to the dozens of courses offered by the University of Nicosia, one three-credit-hour course will be taught by The Citadel's on-site program faculty member. The Office of Study Abroad will walk students through the course selection process upon acceptance into the program. Students are advised to speak with their academic advisor regarding courses to be taken abroad prior to the course selection process.

Participants also have the option of applying for one of the numerous internships offered in the many fields taught at the University of Nicosia.
