Small Business Development Center opens at The Citadel
Underscoring its commitment to the economic growth of the Lowcountry, The Citadel School of Business Administration has joined forces with the South Carolina Small Business Development Center to expand services to new and existing entrepreneurs in the Charleston metro area.
Effective today, the Small Business Development Center will offer services on The Citadel campus.
“This partnership clearly demonstrates The Citadel School of Business Administration’s commitment to providing outreach to the Charleston business community,” said Dean Ronald Green.
“Small businesses are particularly troubled during an economic downturn and we are pleased to be part of the long-term solution,” Green said. “The Citadel Small Business Development Center will provide an invaluable service to small businesses throughout the area, but will be particularly important to those in the downtown area. “
The Small Business Development Center, a counseling partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration, helps people with small business start-up ventures and assists in the continued growth of small businesses with funding from federal, state and private funds. Counseling services are free, confidential and open to any present or prospective small business owner.
