Emergency warning sirens to be tested

The Citadel will conduct a test of its emergency communications sirens at approximately noon on Wednesday, June 25, 2008. The test is part of the college’s BulldogAlert emergency notification system.

The sirens will sound for approximately three minutes and have the potential to be heard throughout many areas of the upper peninsula of Charleston and in portions of West of the Ashley River.

Would you please report this test on your upcoming newscasts and publish in your print publications so area residents are aware and are not alarmed by the test sirens.
