ROTC units to honor top cadets at annual awards event

The Air Force, Navy, Marine and Army ROTC units at The Citadel will recognize the top cadets and active duty military students from each detachment during this week's annual ROTC awards ceremony.

The awards ceremony is at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 13 in McAlister Field House. Cadets and active duty military students will be recognized by various local and national organizations for outstanding academic performance and leadership. Nominations are submitted by ROTC staff and endorsed by department heads.

Awards from 29 organizations will presented to 81 cadets and active duty military students. A complete list of awards and recipients will be posted immediately following the event.
