Army ROTC LTC

The Leader's Training Course is four weeks of intense classroom and field training held in the summer at Fort Knox, KY. This course is an accelerated version of the two years of leadership development training and is substituted for the four basic courses (MLTY 101, MLTY 102, MLTY 201, and MLTY 202).

This program is mostly targeted for our Charleston Southern, College of Charleston, and Citadel Graduate College students. This rigorous training qualifies a student for enrollment in the advanced Army ROTC courses on campus—provided he or she has two years of college remaining. Upon LTC completion, students can contract to be an Officer in the Army, Army Reserve, or National Guard and will draw a monthly stipend of $450 dollars as a junior and $500 as a senior as well as be considered for any available scholarships.
