BOND founder to speak on campus
The Cadet Republican Society will host the Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, founder of BOND: Brotherhood for Organization of a New Destiny at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 in Bond Hall Room 165. The event is free and open to the public.
Peterson heads up the nonprofit organization BOND, which aims to "rebuild the family by rebuilding the man." As president and founder of BOND, Peterson operates a boys home and after school character building program and other programs that assist fathers and their families.
Peterson has appeared on national radio and television news programs and is currently on a tour of college campus in the United States. He is author of "SCAM: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America."
His appearance at The Citadel is sponsored by the cadet-run Republican Society.
