Dr. Lassiter is Associate Professor of Psychology. He earned his Ph.D. in School Psychology in 1995 from the University of Northern Colorado. While attending UNC, he received The Graduate Dean’s Citation for Excellence Award. Dr. Lassiter came to The Citadel in 1996 after completing post doctorate training in neuropsychology at The Ohio State University Children’s Hospital. He received a license to practice as a Psychologist in 1997. He is also a licensed Professional Counselor and Professional Counselor Supervisor. Dr. Lassiter maintains a small private practice in Charleston with his wife, Dr. Jane Zazzaro. Dr. Lassiter and his wife adopted fraternal twins from China in 2004.
