Professor Lowman is Adjunct Professor and was named a Citadel Fellow in Spring 2010. Prof. Lowman has assumed a number of roles within the field of education, including a high school math teacher, a school psychologist practitioner and supervisor, a state department consultant for school psychology, and a special education administrator in mulitple school districts around South Carolina. After 34 years of service in the public schools, Prof. Lowman retired in 2007. Throughout her career, Prof. Lowman has been actively involved and held numerous elected offices in local, state, and national associations, including serving as Treasurer of the National Association of School Psychologists. |
