Psi Chi

Description

Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology. The Citadel chapter is composed of undergraduate and graduate students, as well as faculty members. The chapter stimulates intellectual dialogue through a program of speakers and promotes service through active participation in community activities. Recently, The Citadel chapter received the Model Chapter Award.

Membership Requirements

Undergraduate Students

The Citadel chapter is open to undergraduate psychology majors or minors who have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of psychology courses with a 3.0 grade point average, and who rank in the top third of their class. Psi Chi activities promote scholarship and research which prepare students for graduate study or future endeavors in psychology.

Graduate Students

The Citadel chapter is open to graduate students who have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours of psychology courses with a 3.7 grade point average, and who rank in the top third of their class. Psi Chi activities promote scholarship and research which prepare graduate students for further graduate study or careers in psychology.
