Graduation Info

The Master of Science in Project Management (MSPM) is conferred upon those candidates who successfully complete an approved program of study consisting of 30 semester hours of graduate credit.

The Graduate Certificate in Technical Project Management (TPM) is awarded to students who have completed 12 hours of graduate study in the areas defined in the Overview of Graduate Programs.  All students are required to complete a capstone project that spans the four TPM courses.  These 4 courses are core courses in the MSPM.  Some or all of the courses in TPM may be used as elective courses in other graduate degree programs, including the Master of Science in Computer Science and the Master of Business Administration.   Please see your advisor for eligibility.

The Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering Management (SEM) is awarded to students who have completed 12 hours of graduate study in this area as defined in the Overview of Graduate Programs.  Up to four courses in the SEM program may be used in completing the requirements for the Master of Science in Project Management.  Please see your advsior for eligibility.

The Graduate Certificate in Technical Program Management (TPgM) is awarded to students who have completed 12 hours of graduate study in this area as defined in the Overview of Graduate Programs.  Up to four courses in the TPgM program may be used as electives in completing the requirements for the Master of Sciene in Project Management.  Please see your advisor for eligibility.

Please note: Even if you don't plan on participating in the Spring Commencement Ceremony, you must complete a Graduate Application in order to receive your diploma or certificate.
