Citadel Republican Society to honor three retiring congressmen

The Citadel Republican Society, a cadet-run club with more than 200 members, will host its annual Patriot Dinner at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5 at the Holliday Alumni Center, 69 Hagood Ave.

The dinner, which is open to the public, will honor the retiring Reps. Henry Brown, Gresham Barrett and Steve Buyer. Buyer and Barrett are Citadel graduates. Special guests will include Sen. Jim DeMint and Sen. Rick Santorum.

Tickets for the Patriot Dinner are still available for $50 each. Order online at http://citadelrepublicans.org or by calling (843) 654-1249.
