Take the Outward Bound challenge

The department of intramural, club and recreational athletics is offering 10 cadet scholarships for a N.C. Outward Bound wilderness course that will take place for one week in the spring.

The Outward Bound challenge is an outdoor educational opportunity that tests your ability to overcome obstacles, discover possibilities and develop new skills:

• Cultivate leadership skills in an authentic wilderness setting.
• Develop teamwork skills.
• Learn challenging outdoor skills like rock climbing.
• Enhance your problem solving skills.

Interested cadets should attend an information session 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Jenkins Hall Auditorium.
