Oral Communications Lab Staff
The Oral Communications Lab is staffed by a director and one graduate assistant.
Patricia McArver is director of the Oral Communications Lab and is on the faculty of The Citadel School of Business Administration. She teaches business communications, a required pre-business course for majors.
She holds a B.A. in Journalism and a M.A. in Mass Communications from UNC-Chapel Hill. Her background includes eight years in radio news as well as stints in business and educational marketing. Prior to joining the lab, she served as a spokesperson for The Citadel in her position as vice president for communications.

Christina Rhodes is the Graduate Assistant in the Oral Communications Lab and is currently working toward earning her Masters in Business at The Citadel Graduate College. She enjoys being a member of El Cid Toastdawgs, the MBA Association, and Rotaract.
She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from USC-Spartanburg, and has had the opportunity to put her education to use, serving as the vice president of Carolina Burglar & Fire Alarm Company. She is a licensed real estate agent in the state of South Carolina and has experience in property management.
