ONE at The Citadel hosts Water Missions International speaker
ONE at The Citadel will host a presentation by Brittany Fogle of Water Missions International at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12 in Duckett Hall Auditorium.
Water Missions International is a nonprofit Christian engineering organization that provides long-lasting safe water and sanitation solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas. The organization has provided access to safe water solutions for more than 2.4 million people since its founding in 2001.
Headquartered in Charleston, Water Missions International has nine permanent country programs and has operated in 49 countries on five different continents. It has received Charity Navigator's top rating six years in a row.
Fogle, a Charleston native, graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in Legal Studies and a double minor in Spanish and Journalism. She has been with Water Missions International for a year and a half as the special events coordinator. She oversees all advocacy efforts and third-party fundraising. She also manages the annual Walk for Water, which is coming up on March 23.
The lecture event is free and open to the public.
