Each year, The Citadel distributes hometown news release for graduation, Gold Stars, Dean’s List and major college awards. The general news release is submitted automatically so you do not have to request it. Releases include general information such a name, hometown, major and company along with information about the award, honor or achievement. For most hometown news releases, we provide photographs, typically a yearbook photo, upon request of media outlets.

In addition to sharing the good news with hometown newspapers, we email parents and students an online version of the news release that can be shared with family and friends through email and social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter.

We have many parent email addresses already on file. If you are not sure whether we have yours or you never submitted an email address during the admissions process, you can complete the form below. We can accept a maximum of two parent/guardian email addresses.
