Before & After: Christopher Zeller '14

Mr. Zeller came into the lab in March of 2014. He was a senior, and, with the last name "Zeller", he was going to be the last to get his diploma. Per Citadel tradition, the last cadet to graduate gives a speech. Though Mr. Zeller was nervous, he came prepared to give it his all. This is a clip from one of his first practices in the lab.

The video below is of his big performance in McAlister. We are so proud of Mr. Zeller!

Before & After: Maj. Dan McQueeney '71

Maj. McQueeney, '71, came to the OCL for one reason: he wanted to win the presidency of the National Exchange Club. He had six weeks until the conference in New Orleans, where he would deliver a speech in hopes of winning the most votes. Below is a video from one of his first trips to the lab.

As you can see from the "after" video, Maj. McQueeney transformed into a dynamic speaker. Maj. McQueeney was an open-minded, eager student. He gave 100 percent during each coaching session, and practiced for hours between visits to the lab. All that hard work paid off. Maj. McQueeney is now the president-elect of the National Exchange Club, which has 22,000 members.
