Thousands
expected for Citadel homecoming weekend
The
Citadel will celebrate Homecoming Friday, Nov. 5, through Sunday, Nov.
7.
Activities,
several of which are open to the public, begin at noon Friday with a luncheon
for all alumni and their families. Alumni also will be honored at one
of the two military dress parades and during a memorial service in Summerall
Chapel. Performances over the course of the weekend will feature the Cadet
Chorale, Summerall Guards and the Regimental Band and Pipes.
On
Saturday, the barracks will be open to visitors and The Citadel Brigadier
Foundation and Citadel Alumni Association will induct the newest members
of the Athletic Hall of Fame. Then Saturday afternoon, the Bulldogs take
on the University of Tennessee Chattanooga at 2 p.m. at Johnson Hagood
Stadium.
