Citadel's Beasley honored as one of 40 under 40
Bridgette Beasley, the deputy director of human resources, has been named to the 40- under-40 list by the Charleston Regional Business Journal. Each year the publication highlights business people and professionals who have distinguished themselves in some way before reaching the age of 40.
As deputy director of human resources, Beasley oversees employee recruitment, classification and compensation. She has developed training and evaluation programs and is serving as interim Equal Employment Opportunity director.
Originally from Fairfield, Ala., Beasley holds a bachelor’s degree in human resources management from Birmingham Southern University, a bachelor’s degree in workforce education from Southern Illinois University and a master of business administration from Averett college.
She is involved in teaching employment topics at the Department of Social Services and serves on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Advisory Council and as diversity chair with Tri-County Human Resources Management.
Beasley and other winners will be honored at a reception Thursday night at Lowndes Grove Plantation.
