Commencement Week Media Opportunities

           You are welcome to share in the excitement of Commencement Week at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. Many events are open to the public and media coverage is welcomed. Here's a list of what's coming up in honor of the Class of 2005.

Thursday, May 5

1:30 p.m. - Star of the West Finals, Summerall Field

3:45 p.m. - Parade and awards presentation, Summerall Field

Friday, May 6

2:15 p.m. - 2005 Summerall Guards performance in Honor of the Class of 2004, Summerall Field

3 p.m. - Graduation Parade, Summerall Field. The Long Gray Line parade will feature the entire Class of 2005 standing in review as the Corps of Cadets and the 2006 officers march by.

Saturday, May 7

9:30 a.m. - Corps of Cadets Commencement Exercises, McAlister Field House
Speaker: Congressman J. Gresham Barrett, Class of 1983.
