Where should you park this weekend?

Hampton Park is off limits for parking during Citadel events

The Citadel welcomes back all friends and alumni for homecoming weekend. To make your visit more pleasant, you need to know where to park and where not to park.

Hampton Park is closed for parking and will be roped off on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday. If that is where you usually park, you'll need to find a spot somewhere else. Charleston Police will be patrolling and issuing tickets to anyone who parks on the grass at Hampton Park.

While we will use every available space on campus, open parking is extremely limited so please don't expect to park on campus.

Your best bet is to park in one of the parking lots on Fishburne Street between Joe Riley Stadium and the corner of Fishburne and Hagood Avenue. There will be a charge of $4 to park on Saturday.

Some advance planning and the willingness to walk will save you a great deal of frustration during homecoming. We look forward to seeing you and hope that you have a happy, safe weekend.
