Memorial service set for Capt. Eggers, '97

           A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m., Mon., June 7 in Fort Bragg, N.C. at the John F. Kennedy Chapel for fallen Citadel graduate, Army Capt. Daniel W. Eggers, ’97. For additional information, call 910-432-1928.

           Eggers and three other service members were killed May 29 in Afghanistan when their vehicle hit a land mine near Kandahar.

           A burial service is planned for June 22 at Arlington National Cemetery.

           Eggers is survived by his wife, Rebecca, and their two sons.
