Freshmen will be fitted for uniforms, receive their haircuts, pick up books and supplies and get acclimated to their training schedule. Media can cover fourth-class processing between 9 a.m. and noon.
Photography is not allowed in the barbershop and cadet store. Contact the Public Affairs Office for access to a designated barracks. The day culminates at 6 p.m. when fourth-class cadets will be sworn in as the Class of 2006. The 15-minute ceremony takes place on Summerall Field.
Media representatives who would like to come to campus for these activities are asked to call the Public Affairs Office at 953-2155 or 953-6779. To facilitate your visit, college policy requires all media be escorted while on campus.
