"Good Morning America" ads feature Citadel cadets

ABC's "Good Morning America" will broadcast from Charleston Wednesday, Nov. 13 and five Citadel cadets are getting in on the hoopla.

On Wednesday, Oct. 23, the cadets filmed promotional spots that are now airing on ABC. The ads welcome Charlie Gibson and Diane Sawyer, hosts of the morning news/talk program, to Charleston and encourage them to visit The Citadel while in town.

Cadets featured are Regimental Commander Richard Neikirk of New Wilmington, Pa.; Regimental Public Affairs Officer Anderson Stewart of Hilton Head Island and Clay Middleton, Suzanne Campbell and Brittney Guerry, all of Charleston.

Broadcast locations in Charleston are the corner of Church and Chalmers streets, St. Michael's Episcopal Church, the Dock Street Theatre and the Edmondston-Alston House. There's no word on whether GMA will stop by The Citadel campus.
