CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Last year, thousands of people visited The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, to witness the tradition of Friday afternoon parade. The military parade is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the Holy City and features at their finest the approximately 1,900 men and women who make up the South Carolina Corps of Cadets.
At various times throughout the year parades are used to present awards and recognize students, faculty, staff and other notable people. The highlight, though, is always the Pass in Review when the Regimental Band and Pipes and the Corps of Cadets march past the stands and the reviewing party to conclude the event.
