Citadel groups launch electronic newsletters
The
Citadel has launched four electronic newsletters in recent months in an
effort to keep in touch with people who have a variety of interests relating
to the college.
The
Public Affairs Office launched the first electronic newsletter, Pass
In Review, last August. The monthly newsletter
is available on the web site or by subscription
to anyone interested in what is happening at The Citadel. In addition
to news and features about The Citadel, each issue also includes a column
by The Citadel's president, Maj. Gen. John Grinalds.
The
Citadel Alumni Association launched its monthly electronic newsletter,
Through the Data Port, in October. That newsletter automatically
goes to all members of the alumni association, updating them on events
and activities of interest to alumni. While non-members cannot subscribe,
they can read the monthly issues online by going to the CAA
website.
The
Citadel's College of Graduate & Professional Studies (CGPS) sends an electronic
newsletter to all registered
CGPS students to keep them informed about important dates and upcoming
events as well as general Citadel news. CGPS news is available
to the general public on the CGPS website.
The
newest addition to the battery of electronic communications comes from
The Citadel's School of Business, which launched InFormation
this month. InFormation is produced by The Citadel Business Network,
a group of alumni, faculty and staff who want reach a broader audience
with information about the business school and alumni in business. InFormation
is available to anyone by subscription.
