CGPS information session set for July 18
Students interested in getting an undergraduate degree at night or completing a master's program can learn more about how The Citadel's College of Graduate and Professional Studies (CGPS) can help at a July 18 information session.
Citadel professors will be on hand to discuss programs and answer questions. In addition, CGPS staff will be available to answer admissions and application questions from 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday, July 18 at the Holliday Alumni Center on Hagood Avenue across from Johnson Hagood Stadium.
Through The Citadel's evening college, undergraduate programs have been offered for Lowcountry citizens since 1966, and the graduate programs have been available since 1968. The CGPS program is designed for the non-traditional student. Today, the college offers 20 graduate major programs and three undergraduate majors through evening classes.
The College of Graduation and Professional Studies offers three undergraduate degrees through cooperative "2 + 2" programs with Trident Technical College. In addition, six masters and two specialist degree programs are offered -- three jointly with the College of Charleston.
The Citadel also offers a Summer Program through the College of Graduate and Professional Studies. The Citadel has the only nationally accredited MBA program in the Lowcountry and offers accredited programs in education, psychology, counseling and engineering.
