Garden architect to visit The Citadel
Sheila Wertimer, considered one of Charleston and the Lowcountry's foremost landscape architects, will talk about gardens as an extension of the home at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 12 in the Daniel Library's Prioleau Room on The Citadel campus.
Wertimer's visit is part of The Friends of the Library book club series.
Wertimer designed the newly refurbished Francis Marion Square and the water parterres at the Calhoun Mansion. She is currently working on the new Spoleto headquarters garden.
Her talk and slide presentation is free and open to the public.
