For release Citadel hosts first undergraduate research conference
The Citadel will host the first undergraduate research conference Friday and Saturday, March 15-16, in the Prioleau Room of the Daniel Library. Posters from a variety of academic disciplines depicting research conducted and results will be on public display11:30 a.m. Friday until noon Saturday. Among the projects are an investigation of the immune system of the loggerhead sea turtle, a study of the effects of the September 11 attacks on college students, a look at the cultural change in the Amazon's Yanomano society, and a chemical breakdown of the Ashley River water. The public is invited to attend. Winners of the competition will be awarded $150 for first place, $100 for second, and $50 for third. -end-
