Josephine Pinckney novel focus of book club

The Daniel Library Friends' book club series at The Citadel continues this week with a discussion of Josephine Pinckney's Three O' Clock Dinner.

Professor Barbara Rockefeller will lead the talk, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001, in the Prioleau Room in the Daniel Library. The event is free and open to the public.

Rockefeller aka Barbara L. Bellows is working on a new biography that hopes to shed new light on Pinckney whose novel captures Charleston society circa 1941.

The theme of this year's book series is Charleston's celebrated history, culture and heritage.
