While many activities are geared toward cadets and their guests, several events are open to the public: Thursday, October 11 7 p.m. Volleyball: The Citadel vs. Columbia College, McAlister Field House Friday, October 12 3:45 p.m. Dress parade, Summerall Field 7p.m. Soccer vs. College of Charleston, Patriots Point Saturday, October 13 8:45-10 a.m. The four Citadel barracks and other buildings and facilities will be open to the public. The Citadel Pipe Band will perform in each of the barracks during the visitation period. 9 a.m. Freshman Squad Drill Competition, Law Barracks. 9:30 a.m. Regimental Band concert, Summerall Field. 10-11 a.m. Open House, academic department 11 a.m. Parade in honor of visiting families, Summerall Field 2 p.m. Bulldog football against Furman University kicks off in Johnson Hagood Stadium. The 2002 Summerall Guards, the elite precision drill platoon, will perform during the half-time show. 6 p.m. Volleyball, The Citadel vs. Furman, McAlister Field House
