Jenkinson is an attorney with Jenkinson, Jarrett & Kellahan in Kingstree and graduate of the University of South Carolina Law School. He has been a Citadel board member since 1992 and served as vice chairman from 1997 to 2001.

Fulghum, a 1951 Citadel graduate, received the Order of the Palmetto, South Carolina's highest honor, on Friday night. The award presented by Senator Billy O'Dell recognized Fulghum's public service and leadership on the board where he has served since 1977.
