Citadel hosts engineering fair
The Citadel Departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering are hosting 2002 Engineering Week activities on The Citadel campus Saturday, February 23, 2002, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. All activities will take place in Grimsley Hall. The public is invited to attend.
Highlights of the event include a craft stick bridge building competition by local middle school students, a Mad Science show, and demonstrations of senior engineering projects. The fair is held annually to help Lowcountry middle school students gain knowledge of engineering issues and methods.
