Kennedy is known as a champion of fairness and equality in the Army. She retired in 2000.
Kennedy will speak at 6:30 p.m. in Graham Copeland Auditorium in Grimsley Hall. The event is free and open to the public. Immediately after, she will attend a reception and book signing in the Greater Issues Room in Mark Clark Hall.
