College of Graduate and Professional Studies Commencement Exercises, McAlister Field House
Speaker: Dr. Ray Greenberg, president of the Medical University of South Carolina.

Thursday, May 10

1:30 p.m.

Star of the West Finals, Summerall Field
In inclement weather: Deas Hall
This is a competition for best-drilled cadet. His or her name will be inscribed on the Star of the West monument near the flagpole on Summerall Field. He or she also will be presented a medal that contains a small piece of wood from the ship, Star of the West, which was fired upon by Citadel cadets.

Review and awards presentation, Summerall Field
In inclement weather: Review is canceled; awards will be presented in Mark Clark Hall

   
7:30 p.m.

Baccalaureate service, Summerall Chapel Speaker: John D. Hannah, department chairman and distinguished professor of historical theology, Dallas Theological Seminary.

Review for the Board of Visitors, Summerall Field

Graduation parade, Summerall Field
The Class of 2001 relinquishes control of the Corps of Cadets to the Class of 2002.
