Fine Arts Series at The Citadel
Since its
inception in 1965, the Fine Arts Series has provided the Corps of Cadets
and the Lowcountry community with a variety of programs including opera,
musical ensembles, dance groups and classical dramatic presentation.
Each college year, more than five scheduled performances hit the campus
stages to entertain audiences. Some of this year's features include
the internationally recognized theatrical group National Players, a
Central Asia band, TURKU, and a new Celtic-based ensemble from North
Carolina, Cucanandy.
These well-attended
programs are free and open to the public. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.
in Mark Clark Hall Auditorium. It is a great way to celebrate performing
arts at The Citadel.
