Learn to be Street Smart

Violent crime has become prevalent in today’s society. Learn how to avoid becoming a victim. Metro Crime Prevention, an independent task force specializing in crime awareness, and The Citadel will host a Street Smart seminar focusing on the most recent scams and methods used by criminals today.

How can a burglar learn the pass code of your security system?
How can a criminal obtain a key to your house?
How can you reduce your chances of becoming a victim?
When is a woman most vulnerable?

Learn the answers to these questions and more at the Street Smart seminar. The program is free and open to the public. Because seating is limited, reservations must be made in advance by calling 953-6709. The hour-long seminar will be conducted 10:00 a.m. in Bond Hall Auditorium on The Citadel campus on Tuesday, June 22.
