January 13, 1999
In todays age of expanding international markets, students, especially business majors, are realizing the value of study abroad. The Citadel encourages students to take advantage of foreign study and travel to promote cultural diversity as well as global understanding.
Four business majors are studying overseas this semester: Cadets David Arnold and John Atkins, both sophomores, are at the University of Valencia in Spain; Cadet Kirk Jenkins, a junior, is also studying in Spain at the Estudio Internacional Sampere in Madrid; and Cadet John Sarto, a senior, is studying at Bond University in Queensland, Australia. All students will receive academic credit for their course work.
