CHARLESTON, SC (Feb. 27)--Esteemed literary critic Sven Birkerts will discuss the fate of reading in the computer age Monday, March 11, at 7 p.m. in the Bond Hall Auditorium on The Citadel campus. The talk is free and open to the public.
A former Harvard professor and Guggenheim fellowship recipient, Mr. Birkerts has won national acclaim for The Gutenberg Elegies, a book which debates the implications of the electronic transformation of our culture.
