Patty Marchant has been named Citadel Employee of the Year 2000. During a ceremony at the April 28 afternoon dress parade, Marchant was presented a plaque by Brigadier General Harry Carter for her superior performance and in recognition of her exceptional contributions to The Citadel, her willingness to give her time and creative talents above and beyond the call of duty and her support for the college administration, faculty, staff, and the South Carolina Corps of Cadets.
