CHARLESTON, S.C.--The Citadel's first dress parade for the 1997-1998 academic year will take place on Friday, September 5, at 3:45 on Summerall Field. The entire Corps of Cadets will march in review to honor those who achieved Gold Star status Spring semester.

     Gold Stars are awarded for attaining a grade-point average of 3.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale. This is the equivalent to four A's and one B.
