CAREER FAIR

CHARLESTON, S.C., Sept. 25.--There have been two record breaking years in the increase in number of corporate representatives and firms participating in the career fair.

Last year was The Citadel's largest ever fair held, attracting 130 representatives from 79 firms. This was over a 30% increase in representation for the 1995-1996 college year - also a record breaking year from the previous.

Brent Stewart, Director of The Citadel's Career Services, is expecting to surpass last year's numbers of representatives and firms participating. The Citadel Career Fair will begin at 8:30 a.m. in McAlister Field House and conclude at 2:30 p.m.

Chris Massa, a 1992 Citadel graduate, will be one of the 130 representatives at the career fair. In 1992 he was recruited by Black and Decker and will now be representing the company recruiting other Citadel graduates.
