CHRISTMAS CANDLELIGHT SERVICES

CHARLESTON, SC (Nov. 21)--The South Carolina Corps of Cadets will present their annual Christmas Candlelight Services at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2, Sunday, Dec. 3, and Monday, Dec. 4, in Summerall Chapel on The Citadel campus. All three concerts are free and open to the public.

     The popular Candlelight Service, about an hour in length, will feature the Cadet Chorale, the Protestant and Catholic Choirs and The Citadel Band Brass Ensemble. The combined cadet choirs will sing an array of Old World and American Christmas carols. Congregational hymns and scripture readings, accompanied by the Brass Ensemble, will also be featured. The cadet choir is directed by Mrs. Nancy Lefter and The Citadel Brass Ensemble is directed by Maj. Herb Day.

     The demand for parking and seating is high, so plan to arrive early. Flash cameras and video lights are not permitted. For more information, call (803) 953-5049.
