Lt. Col. Robert Rabb

Robert Rabb obtained his M.S.E. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. He investigated and modelled impact dynamics of orbital debris on spacecraft as well as impact protection using Kevlar. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. He served as an active duty Army Combat Engineer for over two decades with two teaching tours at the United States Military Academy. He has deployed multiple times to the Middle East and Bosnia, most recently as an embedded advisor to the Afghan Ministry of Energy and Water. He has worked for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with a focus on the reconstruction efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is expanding his research interest in electromechanical devices for medical and commercial applications. Dr. Rabb is a registered professional engineer in Missouri. He teaches courses in the Controls Engineering and Mechatronics sequence as well as introductory engineering courses.
