US Airways passenger and grad discusses team building
Mark Hood, ’82, a former Marine major, will discuss organizational problem-solving and team building at 1 pm, Thursday, Feb. 5, in Bond 165.
Hood was a passenger aboard US Airways Flight 1549, which had to make an emergency landing in the Hudson River Jan, 15. Hood assisted other passengers to safety after the crash, and he and airline Capt. Chesley Sullenberger were the last people to board rescue rafts.
Hood will also discuss preparing for supreme challenges, maintaining readiness, teambuilding, teamwork on the fly, coordinating efforts, utilizing complementary skills and operating smoothly.
