Writing Project offers children’s books writing course for teachers
The Lowcountry Writing Project at The Citadel will offer a three-graduate-hour course on writing children’s books for teachers in all grade levels and subject areas.
Sessions meet at The Citadel on Wednesdays from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 6, 9 and 13; March 5, 8 and 12; and April 9, 12 and 16. Local authors and publishers will share their stories and offer tips to help writers get started. Classes will also include time to read and discuss works in progress.

The Lowcountry Writing Project, an affiliate of the National Writing Project, provides professional development for public and private school teachers in all grade levels and all disciplines. Other workshops and courses are available throughout the year.
